The EWG Action Fund compiled the data that shows the number of deaths associated with asbestos in Rhode Island counties from 1979 to 1999. Providence County reported the most deaths at 123; followed by Kent County with 43 and Washington County with 30 deaths. Counties not listed reported no deaths.
