Stewart L. Cohen
![]() Contact Mr. Cohen Two Commerce Square Honors & AwardsMr. Cohen has received numerous awards for his professional achievements, charitable efforts and community activities, including awards from United Cerebral Palsy™, the Brain Injury Association, and the Pennsylvania State University. He has also served when requested by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and on behalf the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and Lower Merion Township, Pennsylvania. Mr. Cohen was appointed six times by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to serve in various roles for the Disciplinary Board, where he now serves as Board Vice Chair. He has served as President of the Board of the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania, and an officer and member of the Board of United Cerebral Palsy. He was appointed by Lower Merion Township to serve as Vice Chair of the Planning Commission, and as Chair of the Environmental Advisory Board. He has also served on Judicial Selection Commissions for the Judges and Magistrates of United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Cohen was awarded the "Distinguished Alumni Award" by Pennsylvania State University in 2006, and was honored to be a commencement speaker at his alma matter in 2008. United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia & Vicinity dedicated its 2008 graduating class to Mr. Cohen for his ongoing support of people with disabilities. Every year since 2004, Philadelphia Magazine has identified Mr. Cohen as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, based on its poll of fellow attorneys. He is also included again this year in the current edition of The Best Lawyers in America®. |
