The lawyers at Cohen, Placitella & Roth take a special pride in their work on behalf of severely injured children and disabled adults.
We represent many children and adults with brain injuries and disabilities, and we work with and assist this community beyond the courtroom.
Emblematic of the firm's commitment to children and the disabled is our special relationship and charitable contributions to two special organizations that serve the needs of children and the disabled: United Cerebral Palsy of Philadelphia and Vicinity, the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania, and Holidays for the Homeless and Underprivileged, Inc.
Stewart Cohen, is a founding Board Member and the president of the Board of the Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania and also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of United Cerebral Palsy (UCP).

Our commitment to our clients and the community drive our dedication to assist our clients beyond the courtroom and in to the community. We take the necessary time, effort and energy to provide or seek out answers to parents' questions about resources and planning for the child's future. We take great care to investigate whether a child's injuries could have been prevented and if so, work with premier medical and nursing experts to pursue the remedies to which the family is entitled in order to assist in planning and our number one goal, to protect the child's future.
Cohen, Placitella & Roth, supports families facing these challenges outside of the courtroom as well. Our firm is proud to have established the Cohen, Placitella & Roth Family Support Fund at United Cerebral Palsy. The Family Support Fund is used to help individuals and families living with a disability cope with an unexpected emergency, acquire needed assistive technology and adaptive equipment, or help people live more independently.
