William D. Marvin (1951-2010)

Biographical Information:

William Marvin's experience in state and federal courts includes major jury trials, arbitrations and mediations, extensive briefing at all levels and oral arguments in all Pennsylvania appellate courts. Mr. Marvin has achieved ground-breaking precedents in the fields of insurance law, bad faith and consumer rights.

William also has extensive experience in prosecuting class actions. He led a team that obtained judicial approval for a $40 Million settlement against a pharmaceutical manufacturer, and has directed massive document production and reviews, using his expertise in electronic technology. Consumer rights, prescription drugs, and insurance practices are frequently the subject of his class action work.

Mr. Marvin has been using computer technology in legal practice since 1981. He developed and administered systems for case and document management, class action administration, document discovery, electronic research and document generation and automation. He has also presented several seminars on internet law and related topics.
